So you want to know the real truth about Marijuana. Firstly, marijuana is NOT a gateway drug to more dangerous drugs. Millions of people smoked pot in the 60's and their not Crack Heads, their our parents. Marijuana is no more dangerous for the human body than smoking 5 tobacco cigarettes a day. Marijuana does not cause unruliness like alcohol and is not chemically addictive. If the Government of Canada where to legalize the sale and consumption of Marijuana and put a tax similar to that on alcohol and tobacco they could pay of the deficit in 6 years. Also, the temptation for young children to try something "illegal" will be less because the "bad ass-ness" is taken out of it. Millions, maybe billions, of people around the world smoke pot and will continue too smoke it for years to come. Government money should be better spent on catching real criminals like murderers and rapists, not honest dope growers. Most cops today wont even bother you if you have a small amount of pot on you, they may confiscate but they wont bother to arrest you. It's just too much paperwork for them and where else are they supposed to get their stash. And that's the real truth.
